Hi Everyone

i am facing very annoying problem in revit. i have a multilayered wall in revit and i insert a window in it tried wrapping and it worked but as soon as i insert the structural column inside the same wall and join the wrapping disappeares.

Please see the attachment and suggest.

I cannot recreate your problem, it works ok here. Have you modified the window and column families in any way, or are they untouched OOTB? Can you upload your file or at least post some screen shots of your wall properties and assembly?

when the column is totaly crossing the wall it works fine BUT when its partially crossing the wall this problem occur.

This condition doesn’t play nice. I’ve come up with 3 possible solutions – see pictures and enclosed file. Maybe someone else will have some other/better ideas, …sorry.

Thanks a lot our problem was solved with the third option.

spliting the wall from CL of column.
