Hello!
Please excuse my ignorance but I am an Interior Designer who is fairly experienced in Revit. Having said this, I havent needed to work with IFC files before but I have just received a Revit model together with the IFC file from an Architect and need to use these files in order to produce a space plan, finishes and visuals etc.
The problem I have is that the model has no levels, 3d views etc. I have linked in the IFC file into the model and vice versa, but nothing appears workable. If somebody can offer me a procedure for creating a working model out of these files it will be very much appreciated.
Thanks!
