In the material browser, autodesk materials & aec materials show a lock symbol next to them. How do I unlock them?

hey LRC01,

The libraries are lcoked to prevent editing. Pretty certain you cannot unlock these material libraries. If you want to edit the materials from these libraries then you'll have to create your own library and then drag the material you want from them to your own. I would suggest you move up from 2013.  2013 was probably Revit's worse release.   Working with materials in 2013 was nearly impossible.  They fixed that with the 2014 release.
