Hi there.

Using: Revit 2015 on Windows 7

Okay now I am not sure if this is posible but I will ask anyway.

I have recently just opened up one of our old jobs which is now back in progress and the last guy who was in control of the revit file has made a mess of it.

All of the text boxes in every view have been stretched out to nearly double the length of the actual text (refer to attached). Not sure why he did this but anyway I am the one who has to rectify this fairly quickly to get this job out. It's annoying when I need to rotate text or modify it as the "origin" of the text is so far from where it should be.

So what I am asking is if there is a way for Revit to "reset" all the text box boundaries to the normal extents ? IE Like if I were to create a new text box and type something in it, the text box extents would only extend to the end of the actual text. However if I were to stretch that text box out, that now becomes a manual process (which is what the previous person did)

Hope someone can help me and that this explanation makes sense

Thanks in advance

There is no quick fix for this.
