hi

i am trying to create some families, i have found a good socket family, works great. but i am trying to change the symbols in the 2d view, i have 13a switched socket that works ok, has correct type and symbol, i am trying to create a new type unswitched i have made adjustment to 3d and works, but i can not change the symbol, it still showing the switched symbol, i have the unswitched symbol on top of it, what i want is in this type is to switch off the switched symbol and turn on the unswitched symbol but it wont let me, i have created a new parameter exactly the same, but on the visability in properties it is greyed out i can not untick the switched symbol, why is this greye out, why cant i just turn on and off the correct symbol for the type.

where have i gone wrong
