my adaptive component is missing from my conceptual mass can someone assit me pls i am using 2014

I don't understand the question. What adaptive component? Did you make one you cant see?

Are you talking about AC family template? It's in the main family template folder, Generic Model Adaptive.rft
Don't go to the Conceptual Mass folder, it's not there.

i am trying to make a rope column. to make an heliex i have create some adaptive points and i am not able to make the points adaptive because the adaptive icon is not present in my panels. what can i do to get back that icon

You have a wrong template. When creating a new AC family, go to the application menu (big R) -> new -> family -> generic model adaptive.rft (this is a template that you need to start with).
