I HAVE BEEN PLACING ARCHITECTURAL COLUMNS INOT MY MODEL. THE MATERIAL IS SET TO CONCRETE BUT WHEN I PLACE THEM, THEY SEEM TO TAKE ON THE MATERIAL OF THE ADJOING WALL.
I CHANGED THE COLUMN MATERIAL TO DEFAULT FORM RED TO MAKE THE COLUMNS CLEAR ON PLAN BUT THE PROBLEM PERSISTS....
SEE PRINT SCREENS ATTACHED.
PLEASE HELP!

Although I can't find where it tells you this in the HELP, architectural columns will always assume the material of a wall they come in contact with. They really act like a pilaster in that case. If you don't want that, then use a structural column.
