When I change a curtainwall panel to the OOTB curtainwall double door family, it has a 3/4" overlap with the edge of the mullion since it "embeds" like a glass panel would. The problem is, in elevation, plan, and the door schedule, it gives the width of the door as 1 1/2" wider than the space between the mullions (which would be the actual door width).  When I change the mullion to a curtainwall door frame OR a curtainwall jamb, it gives me an error and says that "one or more dimensions references are or have become invalid" and it won't create the door anymore.

Has anyone run into this? How do you depict accurate curtainwall door widths? Is there a better family to use that works with the door jamb/frame families?

Help is much appreciated!

The problem is not the CW Door family but the mullion you are using.  The std, out of the box mullion doesn't have the panel embed.  You can use the profile "Curtain Wall Mullion-Rectangular-Side-Bottom_Left" to make a new side mullion left, and a mirrored profile to make a right or you can create a different mullion left and right for the sides of your doors.

I don't have any errors using these components.
