I've created an Assembled Stair and adjusted the stringers to be steel channels. When I adjust the runs so each does not end with a riser the stringers close aginist the landing stringer support (there is still some clean up that has to be done there). Leaving off the riser at the top of the stairs prevents the stairs from adjusting to the correct height between levels. Even if you have a landing. Has anyone else seen this beheavior? If so what did you do to fix it? If I adjust the stairs to have a riser at the end of the run the heights are correct. But I get a gap between the inner stringer and the stringer at the landing. Has anyone seen this and been able to fix that? I've attached an image.
I get some handrail post support problems at the strainger as well. I am thinking that is an offset issue I will need to adjust in the balaster dialogue box? Any ideas on that?
Thanks,
John
