I have created a family called "Finish Key" with shared parameters.  http://goo.gl/GW1OQ5    all the parameters have identical discipline and type.   I insert the family into the project.  Why do the parameters list like this... http://goo.gl/ha5VVA

Hi SteveB,

Not 100% sure if I know what the problem/solution is, but the second image you have displayed is the family's type parameters. Referring to your attached imaged, the actual "Type of Parameter" doesn't control where it ends up on the "Family Types"list but controls the input/content of the parameter value. Such as, Integer, Number, Text, etc.

I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure you can NOT indicate within the shared parameter itself what the parameter's "Group" should be. Its a manual input process when the parameter is added to the family.
