I have a window family with a type catalog assocaited with it. For some reason, sometime when I edit the txt file the new family type isn't available to select in the Load Family -> Specify Types dialog.  I have double checked to make sure that I have typed everything correct and dont have extra spaces and things like that.

I dont get any error or anything, the family just isn't in that Specify Types dialog.

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?
