See the attached. Working in 2014 all updates. I have a horiz. supply duct and then i turn it down 90 degrees and stop it a couple of feet from the supply grille. I cannot make / turn the last couple of feet into flex duct. In the vertical position it only wants to hard pipe it. When I click on to the grille and right click the duct supply symbol, the flex duct is grayed out. I have no problem creating flex duct from the horiz. duct position but in a vertical position it will not let me. Any ideas?

After some more tinkering around with it. I did find a way to flex duct that hard duct. You have to go into 3d mode and zoom in on it. Then click on the grille, right click the supply symbol, and draw your flex duct. You have to hold your shift button and pan around to get it just right. Sometimes you have to just click a flex duct in and come back and grab the ends or middle nodes to pull or push it and flex it around. But it worked. If anybody has a better / easier way, I am all ears
