Hi Forum.
Just starting to find my way around the program with some tutorials, etc.
Using Revit 2014 via the Building Design Suite (so have Arch, Struct & MEP(though I have 2013 and 2015 installed as well - long story )
Working in sprinkler design so question relates to the MEP portion... I see where you can provide a "Spot Elevation" for the Top, Cetre or Bottom of pipe above the floor. However, is there a way to have the Spot Elevation also provide an option to provide the elevation from the center of pipe to the underside of the floor above?
Oftentimes it is easier for the installer to take measurements from the underside of slab rather than the floor (e.g. if the pipe is up really high, etc.).
Any insight would be great.
Best Regards.

Here is a test. Pipe placed just below the second floor. Spot elevation is set relative to second floor in both plan and elevation.
So - Create a level that is the bottom of your slab and use that. You don't have to create plans for the level and you can either filter them out in views or place in a workset that is normally off in sections and elevations.
PS - Obviously you change the suffix from AFF to maybe below slab above or ????
