Hi, im a student at university suing revit for a project, right so in my design ive got a curved wall and i wanna put a curtain wall in the curved wall, i embedded a curain wall on the exterior wall of my design and that worked but when i try to do on the curved wall the curtain wall doesnt embed and just doesnt cut into the wall even thought the automatic embed is ticked.

any help would be appreciated

CW needs to be curved if you’re inserting it into the curved wall. Either draw your CW using the arc option, or pick lines. Either way, you need to draw or pick the center of the curved wall (blue dashed line will highlight when you hover over the wall), otherwise CW will not cut the wall.

On the side note, CW will appear as a straight line until you insert the curtain grid or use Store Front in the first place (the above rules still apply though).

Hi thanks for the reply, I have a curved wall right and then I click on wall and select the storefront curtain wall, and choose the arc and I follow the curve of the existing wall which I want to have a curtain wall in but after I do it and press the tick and finish the curtain wall, the curtain wall is just in the middle of the curved wall and doesby embed? I've done what you've told me and curved it but still doesnt do
