I have a roof witch I would like to test some different heights and pitches. Design Options seems like the best way to go; however it does not seem to like my faced based void family for the eave profile.

When I added the roof and void family to all the Design Options sets only the primary option gets cut by the void. If I change the primary option to one of the secondary options the void family is deleted.

I am new to Design Options so I could be missing something basic but for the life of my I can’t figure it out.

Revit 14

Thanks for all of your help,

smh

In order for a face based void family to cut its host, it must be in the same design option as the host.
