Hello,
Please see pics attached. I can't get the highlighted line to dissapear. I think it has something to do with the slope, however both the existing roof and new gable extension have a slope of 30 degrees. I also tried reducing and inceasing the width of the new gable with no luck.

If you joined the roofs and the line didn't go away then either the angles or the height is not the same. Be careful - 30 degrees may not be the same as 30.001 .... If it is fixed at 30 on both then you should be ok. Cut a section and LOOK!
