hello,

I am new to using revit this year and am having some issues with trangle panellization. Basically what I am trying to do is the equivalient of tessellate in 3ds max which takes a surface and subdivides it into triangles. Right now I am working in a conceptual mass with divided surfaces and the bent triangle panel. This works fine for the most part except for at the edges where the triangles are cut into awkward shapes. All of the faces of my building are triangles themselves so mathematically there has to be a way for them to be subdivided into whole triangles only. I believe this is possible just manipulating the indents, UV grid rotations, and division distances in the panel properties, but this is extremely time consuming, I havent figured it out yet, and god forbid I need to change something down the line. I am including a screenshot highlighting the issue, and a sketch with the desired outcome. Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks everyone!

I just realized the sketch did not attach, so here it is. Also, I should mention I realize this means that not all of my triangles will be the same size, but that is fine with me.

Thanks again!
