Hello eveyone,

I have recently been on 2 day course with Autodesk on Revit MEP going through the basic's, Iam trying to get started but have run into few teething problems could anyone point me in the right direction as to building up my Revit families is there a quick way to this or is it simply click on fittings etc then right clicking to "EDIT" then do SAVE AS.

i have also tried to do a basic heating layout with several radiators and boiler and Revit does not allow me to connect these up manually, not sure where Iam going wrong any help would be much appreciated.

Become familiar with the families already available to you before you build anything.  Look in your library and in Autodesk SEEK.

I had no propblems connecting a boiler to fin tube radiators using 2015 systems (plumbing) template.... But then I'm an architect.
