Trying to put a dark brown shingle roof on a building. Selected Asphalt Shingles (basic gray color), went to Owens Corning website and did a save as on a nice dark brown shingle pattern. Changed image files to the new (dark brown) in both the Appearance - generic and the bump locations.

The realistic view shows a nice dark brown set of shingles but the rendered image still shows as gray? How do I get the rendered view to match the realistic view?

This is different for different issues of Revit so what Revit are you using?

Revit changed how materials are handled in the 2013 release.   Here is a good written explanation of the process:
