So I just want to add one more line in this area scheme. Like the pic Im posting. But I type in a value. ie I want to make a storage room area color. but it just tells me, "invalid input" no matter what I type. numbers or letters etc.
please, the help files for this are some of the worst in a help file of any program Ive used. and I cant figure out what I should be doing to get a new line of area color on the list.
sorry if confusing. see picture. it kinda shows what I need.
THanks in advance.
M

Cannot be done. The Area Type parameter is hard coded. You can add your own though:
1. manage tab->project parameters->add (name it, type: text; instance; category: areas),
2. in ‘edit color scheme’ window->under scheme definition->color: pick newly created parameter,
3. use ‘+’ sign to add values you want
