Hello :-)

i need to array an object along a curved path (the road)

i found that there is an array along a line and along a circle.

is it possible to array along a curved spline/path? ( i made the blue dots as an example of how i want to array it)

thank you  all :-)

No it is not possable since it is based on all the parts of the arc or circle having a common center point.

You cannot array, but you can use in-place mass to get a perfect spacing. Draw a line - use pick lines option with an offset and pick the edge of the road. Select newly created line and pick divide path (pic 1). Hide the line and leave the nodes visible only. When placing your objects, they will snap to the nodes.

Good solution pijpiwo.  Just out of curiosity, which version of revit are you using?  I don't seem to have the "divide path" command?

It’s in 2013, 14 and 15. I don’t have an access to the older versions than 2013 anymore, so I can’t check.

Are you in in-place mass sketch mode?

Yes, was in "in-place mass" sketch mode.  Just did it again to make sure.  I'm using 2012 so maybe thats it.  I'll search for "divide Path" in the help topics and see what I can find.

Thanks for the help!
