I am aware that in 3ds max if you find a view that you like you can change that view from a perspective into a camera view. This can be seen as discribed on this link

My question is how can this be done in revit?

hi Kenyhel,
Have you tried orientating to view?
On the camera view, beneath the cube, click the arrow and select "Orient to View" then "3D Views" and select the view you want the camera to orient to. See attached.
Hopefully that was what you were after.
