My Eng. firm has incountered a problem with the import/export between revit and risa 3d.

This ia a very simple model and you would think it would be no problem and should go very quick to get out the door.

Basic building 25' X 55', basic 8" masonry walls, 1 leve of steel about 9'-0" about ground and roof el. at 25'-0"

Had to split the walls at the floor steel el to have the analytical model to work right other wise the steel at floor level was floting in risa.

All is welll at this point, saved the project and exported to risa 3d and made the exchange file with no errors, but the walls did not export. (01.jpg)

Opened the file in risa and all the steel is there but of course no walls to hold it up. (02.jpg)

Went back into revit and changed the walls to Exterior 8" conc and export to risa and then the walls go thru. (03.jpg)

Opened Risa and all is well. (04.jpf) now if i change somthing in risa and export back in to revit it works, like it should. for example i changed the beam sizes at the ends. (05.jpg)

So lets say I need to add a beam in the revit model to the floor steel, for example (06.jpg)

I save the revit model and select the export to risa, not changing anything on the options or advance. Just selecting ok button like allways.(07.jpg)

here is where the porblem starts. when the report shows up the walls are not encluded. (08.jpg)

Hit ok ans as you see the walls didnt go thru. the beam that was added is there but no walls.......... (09.jpg)

Plz any help with this would be great........
