Hi there! I'm having a huge problem when trying to make a ceiling either with the automatic and the sketch tools. When I click on the tool button, a message appears informing there has been a serious error and asking if I want to save a recovery file, but however, the programme does not close, and if I select another tool, it works normally.

I re-installed and repaired the software, updated it, audited the file, unchercked hardware acceleration.... It only happens with this file, which is quite a big one (2000-2500 elements) but I'm desperate, because this file means my final project to become an architect. Hope someone can help me.

By the way, I'm using Revit 2014 (64bits).

Do you have all of the updates installed?

Do a saveas, create a new project and then load in a different but similar ceiling family and over write the old family.

After uninstalling, installing, updating, downloading hotfixes and many others, I've managed to solve it in a very simple way; I've transferred all the project standards to a new file and then copy-paste every single entity in the new file and it worked. There might be a bug or something in my old file.

Thank's anyway
