Hi all Revit users,

I hope you can help me on this...

I am using Revit 2014.

Whenever I start to draw any Revit wall, onto a linked Cad file, Revit wall centre line does not appear to align with the Cad references, as seen in the attachment.

As I zoom further, Revit wall center line appears to move either side, but is not centred.

can you please help on this.

When you are drawing your wall is your location line set to wall centerline? I would assume it is set to core centerline or face of  core

So I have Autodesk Revit 2014 and Update Release 3.

I have gone through many threads on internet but still havent been able to solve this funky snapping.

Everytime I need to draw a wall using centerline it snaps somewhere between not straigh onto the cad drawings. Its alsolutely weird. When I get zoom in onto the cad drawing youc an see that the lines are not aligned

No Z geometry

Please help me.

Many thanks

I suggest you be very careful when 'tracing' CAD.  CAD lines don't always meet Revit's criteria for being parallel or perpindicular.  The consequence is you can't then dimension your Revit items.  So I suggest you be very careful and check your items before you get too far along.
