I've been using Revit LT for a little more than a year, and for the price, it's been able to handle 95% of what I want it to do. I now have a project where there will be multiple instances of the same building on a single site. I'm finding that LT doesn't have the shared positioning/ shared coordinate/ named positions features that "full" Revit has, which I understand is Autodesk's intent. Just wondering if others have attempted to workaround the lack of these features for a multiple building project like this.  If the buildings are exactly the same, or very close to it, are there potential pitfalls to simply creating a host site file, into which multiple copies of the building are inserted as hosted references?  I’d be okay with manually moving the buildings around on the site, without it being “fully automatic” shared coordinate model.  Or is this something that absolutely can’t be done with LT?

You may be at the limit of what LT will do. They have to draw the line somewhere seeing as full REVIT cost 10 times what LT does.
