Has anyone tried using the Andersen Window families that are available? I downloaded a few different ones and noticed when I inserted it into my model that the sill heights and head heights were off. (ie: to set the window at the right height visually in my model, I'd have to set the sill height at 6'-8" which esentially pushes my head height to say 10'-8" for a four foot high window.) I could make this work visually for the model but I know it will create problems when I want to generate my window schedule. If I edit the window schedule to the correct heights, it will push my model windows down. Any ideas on how I can fix the problem? Is there something in those particular window families I need to modify? If so, what and how? I looked at the families and can't tell if there is a formula or something else that is setting the origins off or if I can change something in my model to make them work.
Thanks ahead of time for any input.

OK - I finally just figured it out. There is a head height reference plane in the family that has a "defines origin" parameter under properties. It was checked and it apparently should not be. After I unchecked it and reloaded the family, it worked fine.
FYI

I'm in a situation with design options.
While editing an option, I inserted AW dbl hungs, unchecked the "defines origin" parameter and placed windows at proper window height, in this case 7' 11". Now when I end the edit session my windows toggle back and forth between the original incorrect head height from the original main model and the correct head height from the design option. When I go to edit design option, the windows are at the correct height and when I end the edit the windows show at the incorrect height. It's kind of "fun" to watch it, but only because I don't know what happened.
Do I need to undo to the point before the design option was created, uncheck the "defines origin" parameter" and then recreate the design option, or is there another way??
