Hi, I am working on a large survey from point cloud in Revit, and the client has requested that we show any pipework and ducting etc that may be visible within the ceiling voids etc. THe surveyor did take may ceiling tiles away when scanning, however it is impossible to show complete runs and what these pipes actually are.

Could someone suggest a best practice would be to show this pipework please? and under what family category I should do them in?

The client isnt expecting complete runs but I need to place them in some sort of category to enable or disable visibilty etc?

Thanks in advance

Peter

Why not just use pipes from the systems tab?

Hi WWHub - yes I could I suppose, I also need to show blocks of machinery and ducting etc such as AHUs - Any ideas on how to categorise these? I havent really used piperwork before or added any services to a revit model as yet. I suppose I better read up a bit.

thanks
