Using Revit 2012.

In my current file a bunch of the hatch patterns (drafting) are messed up.  For example the lines in all my wood & gravel patterns don't match up anymore and they look like crap.  I opened up another Revit file and there are no issues with the hatches in that file.

This happen to anyone else?  Any suggestions on how to fix it?  I audited the file on my last open and it didn't make a difference.  I'll try to recreate a pattern or 2 from my .pat file but hopefully there is a simpler fix.

Update - I tried making a new hatch pattern to match from a fresh .pat file and it has the same issues.  Its like there is some origin problem or something with the hatches... but I can't think of any way to edit that in Revit.

Does your project have a distant origin? In AutoCAD hatching well away from the origin reliably scrambles some hatch patterns (due to pattern definition imprecision) until the hatch origin is adjusted.

I'm grasping at straws but have you tried adjusting the patterns' "Orientation to Host Layers" as WWHub mentioned here:

Also, could you upload the fill .PAT file you just tried making a new pattern from? Respecification to higher precision can do wonders for hatch pattern appearance at high co-ordinates - but only if that is the reason for your problem.
