I have a png image file with no background and when I drag it into a view it looks fine from zoomed out but if I zoom in it goes black. I have imported images with no background before but don't remember if I even knew why it worked and would like to know if anyone has figured this out.
the file is not large, 18kb
revit 2014 but I have always seen this issue since I started using revit in 2010
win 7 64bit

after more extended search I found this-
http://whatrevitwants.blogspot.com/2013/11/how-to-make-image-backgrounds.html
which is the answer. If a mod could move this to tips and tricks that would be great
