Hi - I have a number of stair runs that I am trying to connect with landings and the floor slabs - The problem I am having is that at the start of each run - the monolithic underside doesnt connect properly to the Floor slab or landing - it on;y works correctly at the end of each run- I can't use multi run stais as the risers differ for each run as it's an existing concrete stairs. I am usinf Revit 2014.

Any advice would be appreciated

Try using - "begin with a tread"

Component stair:

Select stair->edit stair->select stair->extend below riser base (properties). Apply negative offset.

Stair by sketch:

Select stair->edit stair->edit type->extend below base. Apply negative offset.

Sorry - I should have said "Uncheck begin with a riser" .   Then you would also have had to set "Extend below base".  This needs to be a negative.  See image.

We rarely do we extend the bottom because our precast stairs have to sit on something.
