I'm using Revit 2014 and I created a second General Notes sheet. The first sheet was numbered S-00001. The second General Notes sheet was numbered S-00002. When the second sheet was created revit placed it after my foundation plan which has a sheet number of S-1-0. Why isn't the S-00002 sheet after the S-00001 sheet? My project browser looks like this:

S-00001 GENERAL NOTES

S-1-0 FOUNDATION PLAN

S-00002 GENERAL NOTES

S-2-0 LEVEL 2 FRAMING

ETC.....

I originally thought tht you were in error.  Revit uses a true ascii sort and what you have would not be true.  BUT - When I test this sheet numbering out, you are correct.

This appears to be a bug and you need to report it to autodesk.  We typically never have that many digits in sheet numbers and that may be where your problem lies.  The programing code may not be set for that many digits.  You can add another parameter to sheets and use that in your browser sort.  But by all means, send it to autodesk.
