Working in Revit 2015 R2. See the attached jpeg. It appears that Revit still hasn't addressed the 3-way light switch. Has anybody else come up w/ a better solution other than a single pole light switch and the '3' as text?

The switch with the 3 is an industry standard.   What is it that you think it should be?

Sorry for not explaining more in detail. If you put the 3-way on the north side of the wall it looks fine. But if you put the 3-way on the south side of that wall the '3' is upside down.

Your right .... but that is still the industry standard.  The number is relative to the orientation of the switch.  This is true for a lot of different symbols.

I understand. We are an A/E firm and our office is in the process of having the electrical group start doing their work in Revit. I can already predict one of the questions/complaints will be an upside down 3.

Wow - we have gone full circle.  In my hand drafting days, it was really hard to do that upside down 3.  Then when CAD happened, everyone complained because the text would not rotate into that position.  Now they are complaining that it does?
