Hi,

Using Revit 2015, is there any way to include both the Keynote Value and Keynote Text information in a Schedule?  I.e. I want to see both of the fields that are availble in a Keynote Legends in my Schedule.

Thanks.

If your keynotes are by project, then the keynote legend can show both the value and text.

Thanks, yes I have a Keynote Legend with both fields, but I want my plumbing schedule (which counts the number of fixtures) to have the following fields: Keynote Value, Keynote Text and Count, as per the attached image.  Is there any way to do this in Revit, or an add on package that will?

Keynote files can not be scheduled in a model element schedule so you can not do what you want unless you add some manual process.

Did you know that all elements have a keynote field that can be scheduled?  This is a type driven (element) text value.  This will be the keynote index value (number) if either an element is tagged picking the item from the keynote file or if the text number is assigned in the type properties.  So when you keynote tag it uses this field to search the keynote file.    << So - here is your keynote "index"   But no value will be available.

For those people that don't use keynote files, this field can be filled in with the actual keynote text whick can then be tagged.  BUT - This is not then "numbered" or associated with the keynote legend process.

Thanks.  It's a shame that Keyonte Text can't be scheudled in a model element schedule.

I've spent quite a bit of time setting up our office specific Keynote .txt file and we use keynote tags for almost all of our annotation now.  As a work around, I can add in the required data as a Type Comment or Description parameter, but seems like a waste of time as you are just repeating the information that is in the Keynote .txt file.

I'll add it to the AUGI wishlist or something.
