Maybe I'm missing something-  I have a multi story stair.

In plan, I want to show a double cut line with the stair lines inbetween the cut/break lines not to show.  But they still show.

This doesn't seem right to me, and I've seen examples on the web where this works.  When I read on how to do it, everything just says to turn on double cut line.  I got that covered, both cut lines are showing, but the interior part beteen the cuts isn't makes out.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

no underlay on.

I've noticed that it does with work with a string of multistory stairs, but if the stairs aren't multistory, copied above each other isntead, it does not work. At least, I can't get it to work.

Also, the built in stair arrow tool doesn't work very well either, the line/arrow goes past the break line

I wish you had said they were seperate stairs.  Obviously, the cut setting for one stair will not affect another.  You will have to do these seperately.

We don't ever use the built-in arrow.
