Hi,
Can anyone walk me through how to create a curved mansard roof as shown in the attached pic? I am not really sure how to begin doing this since I am new to revit and I don't want to go down the wrong path. If you can set me on the right path with a basic explanation, I will fill the blanks in my knowledge if I do not completely understand the answer. Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks a bunch,
Ozren

The only way I see to do this roof and do it the most easily is to do it using an in-place sweep and draw the profile of the arc in an elevation or section.

Probaby will have to do a model-in-place, roof category, doing a sweep.

Mansard is the bigger portion here in Ontario... but thanks everyone, you helped me figure it out... in place model with a sweep in the shape of roof...
Thanks again!

Ty,
The mansard roof is the very steep, full story roof which in this case are slightly curved, not the dormers.

Again, create an in-place component. You can either make the whole thing, including the window, or make a wall component and attach another window family.
