Hi guys,

I have been trying for some time now to figure out a way of making a shared parameter assigned to a view that will show up on the sheet also. I want to asign a custom text to the view and make it show up when placed on a sheet(similar to the scale or name of the view)

Does anyone have an ideea about how to make this thing happen ?

Thanks

The only family associated with views is the view label.

If it is just text, you can achieve this by using a Shared Parameter (SP)

Annotation family: Create the SP as text > Select View Title in Category and Parameters > Insert into Revit Project file

Project Parameters: Add SP in > select Category: View

Viewport type: Create a new Viewport type > Select title as your family

I have a solution for everyone, I made a video for how to use and manipulate Revit's Schedules, in particular with custom parameters, sorting, grouping, counts, and filtering: https://youtu.be/JCrEhK6MS8A

-Enjoy-
