We have projects started in Revit 2014 that will not auto-populate the revision schedule. I have been told that this is a glitch in the software, and that there is no way to fix the problem. I am hoping that this is not the case and I do not need to manually track the revisiosn for these projects.

Wehave been doing 2014 projects for some time now and have never had a problem.

Have you got all your updates installed?

ARe you knew to Revit?  Did your revisions / sheets work on other Revit issues?

I'm not not new to revit, I've been a user since 2007, but I'm not our office reivt magnager and so did not set up the template nor do I do installs (I will check on this). When I asked the answer that I received was that it was an issue with 2014, and that several people in the office had been told not to start projects with 2014 but 2013 and then convert to 2014. It seems like a very important issue to be glitchy, so I was looking for a better answer.I used the same process that worked fine in Revit 2013 to make new revisions and clouds in 2014 -- they show and hide correctly, can be moved between revisions, but will not populate the revision schedule listed in the title block. I attempted to create a new revision schedule in the title block, thinking that maybe the previous one was an upgraded version rather than created in 2014, but this did not solve the issue. I am currently upgrading a title block from 2013 to 2014 to see if this will fix the issue. As mentioned projects started in 2013 and upgraded to 2014 are not having a problem, but all projects startedin 2014 do. Any advice is much appriciated. Thanks!

loading a title block that worked in 2013 into a 2014 project did not help.

We have a lot of people on this site and I assure you that this is NOT an issue with 2014. As a matter of fact, 2014 is a far superior issue to 2013.

You did not answer the question about updates.  2014 has 2.  Make sure they show up in your about pulldown under the ?

Our titleblocks were all upgrades from previous issues going all the way back to 2009.  That doesn't mean that an upgraded project or sheets could not become corrupted because thy can.  But I tend to believe your titleblock has problems.   Why not remove your office  data and let us look at the family?

we have Update Release 1. Was this an issue that was resolved by a subsequent update? Typically they will not update unless a specific issue is identified as resloved. I've attached a very stripped titleblock with the non-functioning schedule.

No problems here - see image.

I think it is foolish NOT to install, all updates as soon as they come out.

I agree, just not my decision. It's also nice to see I'm not going crazy, just wish I could reproduce your non-issue with my files. Thanks! I wiill see if I can get this resolved in house.
