Hello,
I am a first-time poster and using Revit Architecture 2013. I'm having an issue placing a detail section on a sheet next to the plan it was created in. As soon as I place the view, the section line disappears. However, if I place the view on a different sheet, it does not disappear.
Three images attached:
-Before placing view
-After placing view on same sheet (section line disappears)
-After placing view on different sheet (section line shows just fine)
I'm stumped, please let me know if you hav any idea how I can get that section line to stay. Thanks!

I just checked it out and I have no problems with this in my 2013.
SOmething else going on here. It may be a video card issue - How does it print?

I just revisited this problem again today. I'm convinced that it's a problem with some property of the sheet. It is currently on a "DA" sheet and it actually works fine if I change the sheet prefix to anything that doesn't start with D. For example, if I change the "DA" to "AD" it's fine. Are there any sheet properties that are somehow controlled by the sheet name??
If not, I'll just figure out a way to fake it :/

There is no sheet property that would do this but we do occassionaly see corrupted sheet. Delete that sheet and create a new one and place the views on that. Audit your file.
