I need to know if anyone knows of a quick way to do curtain walls that rake vertically. At present, I'm using the "Curtain System by Lines" command. This has been a little time consuming as I've needed to draw model lines at the required levels and offsets for the base and head. I then create the curtain wall. If any changes to the building height happen, the wall does not adjust with it. Can this be recified? Is there a quicker way to construct them? Also, the building I'm currently documenting has heaps of shopfront type glazing, I need to apply tags to this glazing and be able to add to the window schedule, is this possible? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Use a mass then create curtain wall by face. Then if the height changes, adjust the mass and select the recreate option on the curtain wall and it will automatically update to the height change. To tag the panels as windows, swap them out for curtain wall windows. HTH. Post edited on 2006-03-07 01:13:08
