Hello all,

I'm trying to figure out if I can tag the default elevation parameter for face-based families.  The firm I'm working for really wants this to happen, and I'm struggling to find an answer.

Is this possible?  If so, how?  If not, is there a workaround?

Is it possible to have the tag read in inches, not feet?

Thanks in advance for your help!

A "default" elevation - no.

A read elevation after placement... maybe by using a group.

Elevations can have multiple types with different properties.

Apologies, I didn't write the correct title in the post.......

I'd like to tag the Elevation parameter, not the default elevation parameter....  As in, the elevation of a face-based object from the reference level (in inches if possible)

Tags read shared parameters in families.  I don't know if this can be a reporting parameter or not.

As I said before - measuring units are up to you.
