See link - http://www.jarodschultz.com/revit-wallface-based-family-trick/ Has anyone been able to make this work in Revit Architecture? It seems to work fine in MEP from what I've read, but I can't replicate the process in Architecture. I copy monitor the link, but no matter what I attempt it will not allow me to copy the wall based components. I even changed the fixture's family type to columns, which DID made it appear in the copy monitor options, but I cannot change it from anything other that 'Don't copy this type'. Anyone found a work around? One that isn't 'rebuild it from scratch'? I'm aware of that and it's not what I'm asking.

Also, using Revit Architecture 2014. I do not belive my firm has the box set (we're not A&E)

btw. i have tried it using BDS Revit 2014 no issues and all. i used lighting fixtures wall based to face based
