Hello,

I am currently using Revit 2014 Student Version, and am attempting to build a metal flight of stairs with a concrete finishing.

The stair would have structural profiles as supports and a 4mm steel plate as a mold for a 50mm concrete finish.

I know I can model a monolithic stair, having its structure made with concrete and have certain material finishes to it, but when it comes to metal stairs I can't find a way to do it! 

Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks

A standard metal pan stair is what I assume you are talking about.  http://www.steelway.co.uk/SW-pan-type-treads.php

That is one of the typical stairs defined in Revit.  The metal pan forms the bottom, nose and back (riser) (may be open) and the concrete tread fills the pan.
