I am trying to adjust the global workplane bearing of my building model to match site geometry. At the moment when I draw a recangle its edges are not perpendicular/parrallel with the site boundary which is about 15degrees off true North/south bearing. I have been able to create a workplane, but not set one that will work in all views. Will be greatful for help.

I think you need to show us what you are talking about because your process may not be necessary.
Do you understand that you can rotate any view? Then you can work orthographically in that view. It is best to use a rotated working vies as I have done.
