Hello All,

I am having difficulties exporting a walkthrough with crisp quality.

I choose Render as my setting and will export to AVI or Individual frames and still my return is pixelated images/video. I have broken the export into sections of 50 frames to see if that would do anything, and still the quality is sub par. I have increased dimensions and attempted to scale down sizes and still poor visuals.

Why is this? Is there no way to use revit to create a walkthrough with client presentable quality on the render setting?

Do I increase fps? (At the moment 20 fps)

I have been told to increase my DPI but see no setting in Revit 2014, at least that I have found.

If I only have a computer with basic sys req and only revit 2014 as my rendering program what can I do to get optimal quality of frames/video?

I know I have spewed a few questions, I do appreciate the time anyone offers for responses. And I have one more:

Although we cannot export to the cloud, is there a way to send frames from a walkthrough to the cloud? Or must I create each one individually with the camera tool? and hope they flow smoothly?

Thank you,

MC

I downloaded Lagarith Lossless codec and have been using it since everytime I export animation from revit. The resulting video is much better than the preview. Also, make sure that the graphic display option is set to realistic with no edges. You can tick the ambient shadows and the photographic exposure and set it accordingly.

How to download & use Lagar Codec: http://whatrevitwants.blogspot.sg/2010/08/encoding-64-bit-walkthrough-codec-and.html

Hope this helps.
