I am trying to create a wall with half horizontal half vertical lap siding. I set up two different materials in the Material Browser with different names. I then attempt to rotate the image of one 90° to create the vertical. When I change one, it changes the other too! even though they are saved under different names. I even tried saving the source image under two names but that didn't work either. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

You don't say what Revit. Revit 2013,14&15 all use assets. Please read about how to control and assign assets in your HELP.
