Im back again! My 9 unit linked file project is giving me greif. First attempt at this scale of project. Used link file method due to fall of site. Plan region tool will not show everything it should through the cut plane. Doors, walls, all sorts of stuff is missing. I know they are there beceause when I adjust the visibility on the complete level it displays perfectly. Problem is I need to use plan regions to view the complete level. I am worried that the plan region tool does not work with linked files. Your Help is greatly appreciated. Regards Steve

I'm affraid your plan region is the best bet at the moment. make sure that all elements are showing in your linked file, go to link manager and make sure all is ticked (though I don't think it will be the problem) what are your settings for the cut plane of your plan region?

Thanks for your input. I have adjusted the cut plane through a wide range but still the same result. I dont undestand enough about the publish, aquire coordinates stuff but dont think this is the problem. I have just finished a 12 hour stint on the site and are not feeling very "REVIT" excited at this point. Waited 4 hours on Friday afternoon for a support call that never came. Think I will make a duplicate of the file and adjust all the links to a common level to enable a printout in plan view. Once again many thanks, sorry for moaning!
