I am using Revit MEP 2014.

Is there any way to change a mumerical paraameter to text?  I am using electrical parameters, specifically an electrical Wattage parameter.  I can convert it to a numerical value, but I am wanting to add text  ("PER FT")  to the value in the same cell which requires it to be in a text format.

Sorry - there are no real text functions in Revit but you can have units.

That is what I was afraid of.  Units will not do what the engineer wants either.  Thanks!

Why not just add a seperate text column that has the "per foot" and format the cells so that it looks like one cell.

Using the Revit Schedules, you can either have lines dividing your cells or no lines at all.  There isn't an option to remove a line between cells.

Not true... here is a schedule with both sides of the door height column removed.

I have looked for that before,  now I see it for the headers, but it doesn't want to give me the option for the body.  In the attached image I have tried selecting both the two cells and the entire columns and both ways, the borders options are not available.

I am using Revit MEP 2014

Click on the schedule column A-B-C.... Then pick the borders tab.

Got busy and took me a while to get back to this.

Thanks, I can get it to work now.  Sometimes you just have to hit me over the head with the letters...  I kept highlighting everything below the letters and could not get it to work for me.  Now I see.

Have a good one.
