Hi, I have been reading and watching videos, but still don't seem to be getting this.

I am often working on large master plan projects (China).  Example:  A mountain park of 45km2.  I receive the ACAD survey file and areas of development have detailed survey areas of 1km or 2km size.  Each area is drawn relative to the national co ord system and km away from the ACAD "origin". Also being moutnains, they are always about 700m (plus) in elevation at their starting level.

How do I set up the site drawings in Revit?   As I will place the building designs files into the site file (ref).

CHINA.   It seems that the Chinese government are starting to make a lot of noise that all future projects should be created in Revit.  Which I can certainly see the merit in this :o)

Many thanks

You will need to place a point in your CAD file that is a known coordinate and use that as your new CAD origin in order to get the CAD file down to the right size.  Just WBlock out the CAD file with this new origin.
