I just started using revit and have a question:  Is there a way to change the location of annotations in a floor plan per scale.  Lets say I have a 1:50 plan and 1:100 plan and becaue the size of the text changes, I would also like to change the locaiton of the text to fit - for only the one view.  AutoCAD does this with without a problem...

Thanks for the help.

You have to manually move them.

When I move the annotation in whatever scale I'm in, it moves in all scales.  Is there a trick I'm missing?  Thanks

That can not be happening unless you are not telling us everything.

Annotations like text, element tags, dimensions, detail items and 2D linework are all view independent except for the following:

  1. Elements nested in families are controlled by the family
  2. You can copy a view with detailing and that copies all 2D elements but the view is independent after copying.
  3. You can copy a view as a dependent view.  That means all 2D elements are dependent on the master view and can be controlled through any of the dependent views.  HOWEVER Dependent views and the master view will always remain the same scale.  Change the scale in the dependent view and the master view changes as well.

So..... We don't understand what you are doing.
